Progress Blog

Modest Home Makeover officially kicked off the fundraising campaign with the press conference on Wednesday. Mayor Don Ness joined the MHM staff, a multitude of contractors and the major broadcast networks over the lunch hour to help MHM officially launch!. Roger and his staff worked hard to secure drywall contractors and an Electrical contractor. Fox 21's coverage of the project has given Modest Home Makeover some excellent pre-launch exposure and so thanks to Nathanael and Nick for that. On the construction side of things, Norm from Livgard Surveying has successfully negoiated an agreement with the City Engineer's Office to allow a new water service to be put in from the existing water main at Orange St and Kissel Ave, across Orange unto the Hallfrisch property.
